An Interview with Riley Wilson
Age: 57 | Handicap: 10 | Golfer for 30+ years
CartGym: Riley, thanks for joining us. Let’s dive right in—how did you first hear about CartGym?
Riley Wilson: A buddy of mine kept showing up to the first tee swinging smooth and loose, even in the early morning. I asked what changed, and he pulled out his CartGym kit. I figured if it worked for him, I’d give it a try.
CartGym: And what was your first impression?
Riley Wilson: Honestly? I was skeptical. I’ve bought my fair share of training aids that end up gathering dust. But after the first round using CartGym, I felt a noticeable difference. My swing felt more connected. No stiffness, no “warming up by hole 3”—I was ready from the first shot.
CartGym: You’ve now been using it regularly. What are the biggest changes you’ve noticed?
Riley Wilson: I used to get this nagging tightness in my lower back after a round. That’s gone. My posture feels better. And I’m swinging freer—especially with my driver. I’ve even gained a few yards, which at my age feels like winning the lottery. But beyond the numbers, it’s about how I feel. Looser. More confident. Less sore the next day.
CartGym: That’s incredible. Has anyone noticed the difference?
Riley Wilson: Absolutely. A couple of my regular foursome guys have asked what I’m doing. And the funny part is, I tell them I haven’t changed anything in my swing. I’m just warming up right. CartGym has become part of my golf ritual—it’s like brushing my teeth before leaving the house.
CartGym: Any advice for other golfers in your age group?
Riley Wilson: Don’t wait until your body forces you to make a change. I wish I had started this 10 years ago. CartGym isn’t about working out—it’s about preparing your body to play better golf and feel better doing it. That’s something every golfer should want
